Biodiversity is a reporting metric designed to capture the physical displacement of your operations within the environment. The goal of this metric is to identify operations that are in close proximity to high biodiversity valued areas. Once these areas are identified, the organization can understand the risks associated with their operations and plan accordingly.
High Biodiversity areas are categorized as areas that lie within, contain, or are adjacent to legally protected areas. If an organization fails to properly manage their operational risks, the impact could result in reputational damage, delays in obtaining permissions, and the loss of a license to operate.
EXP believes it is important to allow its customers to record all indictors that are important to their Biodiversity programs. We provide a flexible and customizable platform that will easily conform to your requirements.
As a standard offering, EXP is configured to capture all indicators which are related to Biodiversity Management. We provide the ability to define the frequency of reporting, type, amount, and any other definitions important to the Biodiversity indicator. These indicators can be used within your “Sustainability Reporting” to show your organizations efforts in minimizing risks when operating in areas of high biodiversity. EXP provides a multitude of standard reports and addresses all of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) reporting requirements.
