The Web Publishing™ module enables an organization to publish and electronically distribute regulatory documents via the internet or local intranet. Recipients of these documents can search for specific safety data sheets within the Hazox® database using a web-based search interface. All features of Hazox® Web-Publishing™ work in real-time; every document is immediately available once approved and published.
Highlights of Web Publishing:
Intranet vs. Internet Access
Two separate databases can be managed: one solely for internal use (via intranet), the other for access by external parties (via internet). With access restricted to internal users only, an organization's intranet provides an ideal location to store supplier MSDS's, as well as documents created in-house (for purposes of internal review, for example). A distinct, external database accessible via the internet is useful for distribution of published documents intended for customers, prospects, regulatory agencies or anyone issued a login ID and password.
Improved Customer Service/Reduced Costs
Organizations that generate and publish online (M)SDS's offer an important service for their customers by providing an automated method of managing these documents. Simplifying the MSDS distribution process coupled with the vast reduction of paperwork yields significant cost reductions.
Enhanced Security
Security can be configured to selectively allow access to specific (M)SDS's based on a user's login, if desired.
Global Capabilities
Some users may want to see documents only in one language while others may need to obtain a given (M)SDS in all available languages. Our web-based search tool allows users to specify the language of the documents returned in the search results.
Electronic Transmission To Customers
(M)SDS's published online can be imported by your customers in electronic format.
